HD-001 is a soil moisture meter using a measurement method called the tension meter method. A porous ceramic cup is buried in the soil, and when the surrounding soil dries out, water from inside the container is drawn out through the porous cup, creating negative pressure inside the container. This negative pressure (suction pressure) is used to determine the soil moisture content. - The sensor part is highly accurate and environmentally friendly. - Each component can be detached (air tank part, pressure sensor part, PC pipe part, porous cup part). - It can be observed for a long time without water replenishment. - Pipe length can be specified and extended.
